I cannot put into words how much impact Lisa has had on our 2 year old teaching her how to swim ! She uses fundamentals and proven techniques that work with childrens’ basic instinct. My wife (a psychologist) can attest ! You will watch your child become a confident and proficient swimmer in no time. We wasted precious time at another “big name” facilitiy that did not provide the essentials of survival. Being in the business of fire rescue I cannot stress enough the value that she provides in just a short amount of time. Do not hesitate or minimize the importance of this. Please, your child’s life could depend on it.

Lisa Persse has proved to be an exceptional swim instructor and I highly recommend her. As a mother of two living in Florida I know the importance of ensuring your children can swim regardless of their age. Swim lessons are a necessity. My spouse, a Lieutenant at a local fire department can attest to this. Our communities have lost children to drownings. Pool and water safety are paramount. Water is all around us.
We tried local swim classes for months and got very little out of them. My toddler was fearful of the water, could not open her eyes nor hold her breath and had not mastered movements that would allow her two swim. We tried Lisa and within 4 weeks my two year old learned how to swim! She can swim, hold her breath, go under, flip over life a dolphin and lay on her back! Should she fall in, she has learned what to do to create time. This could save her life.
I watched the 15 minutes daily lessons along with my family and is was with disbelief that I saw rapid water confidence, skill development, and a toddler who is swimming. I am still in shock at how fast Ana developed and how much fun she had doing it.
Lisa who is exceptionally trained in her field will tailor her instruction to your child and your child’s temperament and needs. Crying babies eventually stop and smile! I can speak first hand to that. Lisa worked our family too so that as skills were being learned we could practice them on our own time.
As a psychologist and university instructor I was able to appreciate Lisa’s theoretical base, behavior modification and shaping techniques and awareness of both the child and family’s needs. I watched her train both babies, toddlers and elementary age children, some of whom would not initially get in the water. At “graduation” they did not want to leave the pool, nor Lisa. I can not blame them. Apart from being knowledgeable, she is a kind and thoughtful person and very easy to work with.
This was a breeze for me as a mother compared to experiences I had prior and I wish I had done this before with my other child. I feel I wasted many months and too much money in the past. Lisa has reasonable fees, one on one instruction and works fast.
I believe in only quality for my children and is this case, there is no question… Lisa Persse is top notch!

When we decided to get the kids into swim lessons, we were pool homeowners with three kids at 6, 4 and 2 years of age. We weren’t looking for them to learn strokes, but to learn how to survive should something happen. As one who fell in a pool as a baby and was quickly rescued, I felt very strongly about this.
We discovered Ms. Lisa through recommendations of other families. We were hopeful she could help our very different little ones. The oldest was already working on swimming alone but did not know how to float or how to remain calm and get to an edge so we could not trust him in the deep end. The second didn’t want to put his face in the water or remove his life jacket in our pool and the third……well she is the reason swim lessons were started. No fear.
In 4 lessons, our oldest was a seasoned pro at jumping in the pool, swimming underwater, floating on his back when he got tired and climbing out of the pool on his own.
In 6 lessons, our fearful middle child was underwater without goggles or a vest and swimming to Ms. Lisa’s hands.
In no time at all our fearless wonder was gaining the skills to back up her confidence.
It is amazing what one person can accomplish in just 15 minutes a day when that person is so calm, encouraging and loving to each and every child regardless of their abilities, age or temperament.
If you are looking for your child to learn how to be safe in the water and swim at their own speed, you cannot go wrong with having them learn possibly life saving techniques with Ms. Lisa!

Lisa is awesome! My son is a mommy’s boy, which really worried me. Lisa worked right through it with ease and had my son swimming and floating by 18 months (started lessons at 16 months). I will be going back every summer for refresher lessons! If in doubt at all, do it, and do with Lisa!!
Asher has been swimming with Miss Lisa for about 3 weeks and his transformation from being very timid to swimmer has been amazing to see. Lisa’s patience and calm demeanor is key to success of her students learning to swim and to release their fear of the water. Now, all Asher wants to do in the pool is swim to the step or the wall. He loves it! His confidence is wonderful to see! We’ve tried other swim programs that were able to get Asher more comfortable in the pool, but they didn’t teach him any safety. We are thankful for the recommendation for Lisa and so happy with Asher’s progress!! We highly recommend her swim technique!!
