Instructor

My name is Lisa Persse, I have been teaching children independent swimming and floating skills since 2003. Working with children is truly one of life’s greatest blessings!

My previous in-water experience includes over 12 years experience with another national self-rescue swim program teaching hundreds of infants and children self-rescue skills and 4 years training and mentoring instructors. I have also taken the WSI course through the American Red Cross and I am CPR/First Aid and AED Certified. I am background screened through the State of Florida.

In 2013 I opted not to renew my contract with the organization that I had been certified with so that I could focus on water safety and offer a program that would combine a variety of course offerings. A program that would bridge the gap between teaching children to swim independently and have the safety skills they need while having fun and enjoying the water.

Children, who are age appropriate, should have fun and enjoy the water, but they need to be safe, after all, we live in Florida…water is everywhere!

I look forward to working with you and your family and teaching your child how to be safe in and around the water.
